Media and Globalization in Greater China

The Usability and Eye-tracking Lab aims to apply eye-gaze tracking techniques to investigate how people interact with and communicate via new media technologies. Our research addresses theoretical as well as applied issues surrounding cognitive processing, human machine communication, interactive media effects, and online social behavior. The lab’s on-going research projects include a series of studies on the appreciation, comprehension and evaluation of visual arts, and the effects of online advertising on people's reading behavior.
